About Dr Joe Triscott
Dr Joe Triscott graduated from the University of Queensland in 1983 obtaining a BMedSci (Dist) for his thesis on ‘Mechanisms of regression of primary cutaneous melanoma’. He went on to obtain his MBBS (Hons) in 1985 and FRCPA in 1992. Joe furthered his training at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington University in St Louis in 1993 and 1994 undertaking a Fellowship in Surgical Pathology. He subsequently spent time with the renowned A. Bernard Ackerman at the Institute for Dermatopathology in Philadelphia. Since 1994, Joe has been in private practice in Dermatopathology initially at QML and then as a founding partner of IQ Pathology. Joe is a current member and former Treasurer and Vice-President of the Australasian Dermatopathology Society. He’s also a current member of the Executive of the International Society of Dermatopathology as well as the American Society of Dermatopathology.
